Job Title Critical Care Transport RN

We are currently hiring full-time, part-time, and per diem RN's. We are looking for the RN that wants to use their critical care skills in the transport world versus the hospital. If you are an RN that has worked in a hospital setting and want to see the world (outside of the walls) and use your discretion and independent judgment with your RN ER and/or ICU experience, then this is the position for you.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS of CCT RN:

  • Provide comprehensive, effective, safe care to patients during transport
  • Maintain clinical skill proficiency and knowledge base
  • Complete documentation (written and electronic)
  • Maintain positive communication (written and spoken) effectively while interfacing with fellow employees, hospital staff, and the community
  • Stock and clean medical equipment
  • Report to remote location(s) for duty
  • Ability to perform independently within established policies, procedures and standards of practice
  • Work collaboratively with EMT's
  • Presents themselves in a professional, courteous and punctual way
  • Responsible for other related duties deemed necessary to meet the needs of the Company

REQUIREMENTS of CCT RN:

  • Must portray a positive Company image and attitude to personnel
  • Must be current in state and federally mandated training
  • Must maintain current industry standards through continuing education
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to communicate and understand English verbally and written
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Must be able to provide current PPD test results
  • Must have completed all mandatory training including mandatory testing
  • Must demonstrate a compassionate attitude towards all customers and family members
  • Must possess current California RN License.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years combined RN experience in a critical care setting (CCU, ICU, ER, CCT)
  • Must be certified in ACLS and PALS or an approved equivalent
  • Must be certified in CPR for Healthcare Professional or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid current California driver's license
